Canis Ares LLC — Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy
ALL SALES ARE FINAL EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT A RETURN, REFUND, CANCELLATION, REPAIR, REPLACEMENT, OR OTHER REMEDY IS REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE LAW.
Canis Ares LLC manufactures, produces, modifies, or sources products based on individual orders, customer selections, customer-supplied information, and/or limited-production inventory. Accordingly, we generally do not accept voluntary returns or exchanges and do not provide refunds for buyer's remorse, change of mind, preference, or circumstances arising after purchase.
No change-of-mind returns or exchanges. We do not accept returns or exchanges because a customer no longer wants an item, ordered the wrong item or option, selected the wrong size or dimensions, dislikes an otherwise accurately described product, found another product or price elsewhere, or no longer has a use for the item.
Custom, personalized, commissioned, and made-to-order work is final sale. Custom models, personalized products, commissioned design or modeling work, customer-specific prints, scans, likeness products, prototypes, modified designs, specially ordered materials, and other goods or services created or acquired specifically for a customer are non-returnable and non-refundable except as required by applicable law.
Additive-manufacturing characteristics are not, by themselves, defects. 3D-printed and additively manufactured products may exhibit characteristics inherent to the manufacturing process, including visible layer lines, seams, support-contact marks, texture variation, minor surface imperfections, minor dimensional variation, color or finish variation, and differences between digital renderings and the manufactured object. Disclosed or reasonably expected manufacturing characteristics do not create a return or refund right.
Customer-provided specifications and content. Canis Ares LLC is not responsible for problems resulting from incorrect measurements, dimensions, specifications, files, models, images, instructions, compatibility information, or other content supplied or approved by the customer. Customer approval of a design, proof, model, specification, or configuration authorizes production based on that approval.
Cancellations. Orders may not be canceled after production, design work, procurement, customization, or other order-specific work has begun. Before work begins, Canis Ares LLC may, in its discretion, approve a cancellation. Any refund approved before work begins may be reduced by nonrecoverable costs already incurred, to the extent permitted by applicable law. An order is not canceled unless Canis Ares LLC confirms the cancellation in writing.
Shipping damage, incorrect items, and material nonconformity. If an item arrives damaged in transit, you receive an item materially different from what you ordered, or you believe a significant production error occurred, contact CanisAres@CanisAres.com promptly after delivery. Please provide your order number, a description of the issue, photographs of the item and packaging where relevant, and any other reasonably requested information. Keep the product and all shipping materials while the claim is being reviewed.
Do not send any product back without authorization from Canis Ares LLC. Unauthorized returns may be refused.
Where Canis Ares LLC determines that a remedy is appropriate, or where applicable law requires one, the available remedy may, to the maximum extent permitted by law, include correction, repair, replacement, replacement components, store credit, or refund, as appropriate to the circumstances and applicable law.
Damage after delivery. Returns, replacements, or refunds are not provided for damage or problems caused after delivery by misuse, abuse, modification, improper assembly or installation, accident, improper storage, exposure to unsuitable heat, chemicals, weather, loads or forces, use contrary to supplied warnings or instructions, normal wear, or use for an unsuitable or prohibited purpose.
Shipping and related charges. Original shipping charges, expedited-shipping charges, customs duties, taxes, brokerage charges, and similar charges are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or expressly approved by Canis Ares LLC. Customers must not refuse delivery as a method of canceling an order. Costs resulting from refused, unclaimed, incorrectly addressed, or otherwise undeliverable shipments may be charged or deducted from any amount otherwise refundable to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Digital goods and completed services. Digital models, files, downloads, completed design/modeling work, scanning services, setup work, consultation work, and other completed or delivered services are non-returnable and non-refundable except as required by applicable law.
Statutory rights. Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer right, warranty, remedy, cancellation right, or other protection that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or modified. Where applicable law conflicts with this policy, applicable law controls.
